PM Kisan Yojana: The Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana) was launched by the central government in 2019. Under this scheme, millions of farmers across the country are provided financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually in three equal installments. The central government has released 21 installments of this scheme so far. Now, farmers are awaiting the 22nd installment. However, the 22nd installment may be delayed for many beneficiaries. According to the rules of the PM Kisan Yojana, certain conditions must be met to receive the benefits.
If you don’t complete these important tasks, you won’t receive the benefits of the 22nd installment. A large number of farmers haven’t received the benefits of the previous installment due to e-KYC issues, Aadhaar not being linked to their bank account, or incorrect information. Therefore, the government is repeatedly urging farmers to complete all necessary tasks in time so they can receive the benefits of the 22nd installment without interruption.
You are required to complete e-KYC for the PM Kisan Yojana. Farmers who have not yet completed their e-KYC may face delays in receiving their 22nd installment. The government has made this mandatory to remove fraudulent beneficiaries from the scheme. You can complete your e-KYC for the scheme by visiting the PM Kisan portal or your nearest CSC center.
Another major reason for installment delays is the lack of Aadhaar linking to the bank account. If a farmer’s bank account isn’t linked to Aadhaar or the account has been closed, the 22nd installment will not be credited to your account. In many cases, errors in the IFSC code or account number can also cause installment delays. Therefore, you should have these errors corrected.
Additionally, incorrect information entered into the scheme during the application process can also delay your 22nd installment. Entering incorrect name spelling, gender, or other information can result in your 22nd installment being withheld. To continue receiving benefits without interruption, you should correct these incorrect information.
Each installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is released every four months. According to media reports, the central government may release the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in February next year. However, no official announcement has been made regarding this.
