PM Kisan Yojana- Big update revealed about PM Kisan Yojana. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana ( PM Kisan Yojana ) provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 annually to crores of farmers of the country. This amount is transferred directly to the bank account of the farmers in three installments. So far 19 installments of this scheme have been released and farmers are waiting for the 20th installment .
It may be released in June. However, the next installment of farmers may get stuck due to some common mistakes. If you want the 20th installment to reach your account without any hindrance, then take special care of the four important things given below.
It is necessary to complete e-KYC
It has now become mandatory to get e-KYC done under PM Kisan Yojana. If you have not completed this process yet, then your next installment may get stuck. You can complete e-KYC through biometric verification on the online portal or at the nearest CSC center.
Know how to do e-KYC sitting at home
- First of all go to PM Kisan portal (https://pmkisan.gov.in/).
- Here click on the “e-KYC” option given on the homepage.
- Now enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number and click on “Search” button.
- After this, enter the mobile number linked with Aadhaar.
- An OTP (One Time Password) will come on your mobile, enter it.
- Once the OTP is successfully verified, your e-KYC will be completed.
Land records should be updated
The benefit of the scheme is available only to those farmers who have cultivable land. Verification of land records is necessary so that the benefit reaches the right person. If there is a mistake in the land records or the documents are not updated, then the installment may be stopped.
Aadhar and bank account must be linked
The installment amount is sent directly to the bank account, so it is mandatory that the bank account and Aadhaar card are linked. Apart from this, the spelling of the name in both should also be the same, otherwise the transaction may fail.
Be careful while entering information
While applying for PM Kisan Yojana or updating the information, fill in the details like name, account number, IFSC code and address correctly. Any typo or incorrect information can cause your installment to get stuck.
