When Might the 23rd Installment Be Released?
The funds for the 23rd instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme could be released by June 15, 2026. Typically, the Central Government transfers the instalment amount every four months. So far, beneficiaries under this scheme have received 22 instalments of ₹2,000 each and are now eagerly awaiting the next one. The government launched this scheme in 2019 and has consistently transferred an instalment of ₹2,000 every four months since then.
To date, all eligible farmers have received a total sum of ₹44,000 across the 22 instalments. The scheme was originally launched with the specific objective of assisting farmers in purchasing fertiliser seeds. The government aims to ensure that if farmers’ crops receive timely irrigation, fertilisers, and high-quality seeds, they will ultimately reap the benefits in the form of increased agricultural yields.

Eligibility for the Scheme
