When the government starts a scheme, it makes many rules. These rules say what the scheme does, what benefits it gives, and who can get the benefits. This is called eligibility.
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Yojana is run by the central government. It is only for farmers. The PM Kisan Yojana gives money help to farmers. Millions of farmers get this help. Each farmer gets ₹6,000 per year, given in three parts of ₹2,000 each. So far, 20 parts have been paid. Now, it is time for the 21st part. Farmers Waiting for the 21st Installment
If you are a member of the PM Kisan Yojana, you may have already received 20 installments. The 20th installment was released on August 2nd. A program was held in Varanasi, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi released the 20th installment through DBT and transferred the money directly to farmers’ bank accounts.
Now, farmers are waiting for the 21st installment. It is expected that this installment may be released before Diwali, as the government may give it as a Diwali gift. However, there is no official announcement yet.
Who Can Benefit
All members of the PM Kisan Yojana are eligible for the installment. According to the rules, installments are paid every four months. The four-month period for the next installment, the 21st, will end in November. But the exact date is not confirmed yet.
Under this scheme, tens of millions of farmers get benefits every year. In the last, 20th installment, over 97 million farmers received the payment. This number may increase for the 21st installment.
