PM Kisan Yojana: The 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been released, but some farmers haven’t received the money in their accounts. Some farmers received the money by mistake or despite not meeting the eligibility criteria. To address this issue, the government is offering online installment refunds. With this facility, farmers can easily return the excess money deposited into their accounts by visiting the PM Kisan portal directly. This facility is necessary for farmers so that the money received fraudulently can be returned and any legal trouble can be avoided in the future.
Surrender the installment money yourself
If a farmer is not eligible and has mistakenly received funds from the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, they must surrender the funds themselves. For this, there is a special tab on the PM Kisan portal called Voluntary Surrender of PM Kisan Benefits.
Learn the easy way to surrender?
- Visit the PM Kisan website and click on Refund Online.
- If the payment was not made earlier, select “If not paid earlier then select this option to refund the amount online now”

- Enter the captcha code and click on Get Data, which will show your old payment data.
- Enter your email address and contact details in the Refund Payment box.

Why did the money of the 21st installment not come into the accounts of some farmers?
The 21st installment of the PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana has been released to all eligible farmers, but many farmers did not receive their Rs 2,000. There could be several reasons for this:
The information you provided is incomplete
Your bank account’s eKYC is not complete
Your name has been removed from the PM Kisan Beneficiary List
Money has been transferred to the accounts of both husband and wife in the family
The money is going into the account of an adult and a minor child in the family
You purchased land after February 1, 2019, and have not updated the old records.
