Farmers across the country have received some good news. The installation series of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme begins today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will initiate the 21st installation of this scheme from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Each farmer will receive ₹6,000. A total of ₹18,000 crore will be distributed to nine crore farmers.

At a time when the cost of agriculture is increasing, the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme will provide prompt assistance to farmers. Payment will be provided directly to the farmers’ bank accounts.
PM Kisan – How to check the status of customers?
- First, go to the PM Kisan portal https://pmkisan.gov.in.
- Now click on the Farmers Corner on the homepage. There, click on the Beneficiary List.
- Now mention the name of the state, district, upazila, block and village.
- Now, by clicking on the Get Report option, the list of names of all the beneficiaries of your village will be displayed.
How to do e-KYC?
- Farmers can update e-KYC through mobile.
- For this, you have to download the PM-Kisan app and Aadhaar Face RD app.
- Now log in to the PM-Kisan app with your registered mobile number.
- Then click on the Beneficiary Status section.
- If the e-KYC status shows ‘No’, then click on the e-KYC option and enter the Aadhaar number and do face authentication.
- Only then will the e-KYC be updated.
- E-KYC will be updated within 24 hours.
Incidentally, if there is no Aadhaar card, PAN card verification or if there is any problem in the bank account, the money may get stuck.
