There is good news for salaried employees across the country. The government has added the interest amount of 8.25% in 96.51% of Employees Provident Fund (EPF) accounts for the financial year 2024–25, and that too before the scheduled time. The government had fixed the 8.25% interest rate for this financial year on May 22, 2025. This time, the process of adding interest has been faster than before. In earlier years, PF interest was added between August and December. But this year, the process started in June itself.
