The Madhya Pradesh government is continuously launching new initiatives to make women economically self-reliant. Women are being encouraged to start their own businesses instead of relying on jobs. With this objective, the state government has implemented several schemes that promote women’s entrepreneurship by providing facilities such as training, loans, margin money, and subsidies on a single platform. By October 2025, more than 850 women-owned units in the MSME sector had received financial assistance of Rs. 275 crore. This has given a new direction to women’s employment, income, and business potential. Women working in the ready-made garment sector are being further empowered by providing them with an incentive of up to Rs. 5000 per month.
