October month is full festivals accorss the country. Farmers in India has been eagerly waiting for the 21st installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. But the month is a out tor end, and the waiting for the PM Kisan Samman Yojana money so far show no sign to stop. Normally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announce the date of sending the money to the accounts of the farmers who are registered themselves in this scheme. When will the government make the much awaited announcement?
When will the money come?
According to reports, the 21st installment of PM Kisan may be released in the first week of November, after the Chhath festival , although the government has not yet set an official date. It’s worth noting that this installment has already been released to farmers in disaster-hit states like Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana. Additionally, under the PM Kisan Yojana, farmers in Jammu and Kashmir have received ₹ 4,052 crore so far.
The 21st installment was released in advance to provide relief to farmers in flood- and landslide-affected areas of the state. Now, farmers in other states are awaiting the 21st installment of this scheme. The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched during the interim budget in 2019. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers in the country.
Under this scheme, the government transfers ₹ 2,000 directly to farmers’ bank accounts every four months. This means a total of ₹ 6,000 in financial assistance is provided in three installments throughout the year. This entire amount reaches farmers directly through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), ensuring transparency.
The wait for farmers will soon end
Now, farmers across the country are just waiting for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to announce the date of this installment. As always, this time too, the amount will be transferred simultaneously to the accounts of millions of farmers.
