The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially extended the deadline of the SSC Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2025. The applicants now have additional time to apply online. This news is welcome to many aspirants who could not apply in time. The extension is an opportunity for those eligible male and female candidates to get their place in the Delhi Police.

Key Dates and Application Details

The SSC has made public that the SSC Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2025 applications are now being accepted until 31 October 2025 on the official website, ssc.gov.in.
The initial closing date was 21 October 2025. The recruitment is for both male and female candidates for the Constable (Executive) post. One should make sure of timely submission to prevent any last-minute hitch.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates should be between 18 to 25 years old as on 1 July 2025.
  • 2 July 2000 to 1 July 2007 should be the date of birth.
  • Should have passed Class 12 from a recognized board.
  • Special relaxations for children of serving, retired, or died Delhi Police personnel.
  • For bandman, bugler, mounted constable, driver, and dispatch rider posts, Class 11 qualification is also acceptable.

Application Fee and Exemptions

A.edull amount of ₹100 is to be paid by the applicants at the time of online form submission. But a fee waiver is granted to female candidates, confirmed Scheduled Castes (SC), confirmed Scheduled Tribes (ST), and beneficiaries from eligible Ex-servicemen (ESM). This measure provides broader participation and equal opportunity for the applicants of different segments.

Selection and Pay Scale

The shortlisting is done through a Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE & MT), which is followed by a written test. The male candidates should have a valid license to drive motorcycles or cars at the time of the PE & MT, as learner’s licenses will not be considered. Shortlisted candidates will be posted under Pay Level-3 with a monthly pay scale of ₹21,700 to ₹69,100, which falls under Group ‘C’ posts.
