How many verifications per day?
After the new rule, police verification will be conducted from home. To get a passport, the work of sending police verification to the police station related to the passport office is done. In this, the work of gathering information about the person’s criminal history and other relevant details is conducted. Only Modinagar, Muradnagar, Niwari and Bhojpur police stations receive 30 to 40 passport verifications every day. Now this work can be done easily.

Earlier, for verification, the police used to call the person to the police station. The person had to go to the police station and submit his documents, photos, etc. It used to take a lot of time for the person to complete all this. This system has been updated in the Police Commissionerate of Ghaziabad.
This work has started in the Modinagar Circle. Earlier, there were allegations of illegal extortion in the name of passport verification. Many such cases had come to light.
