Life Certificate- Big news for pensioners. The Department of Pension and Pensioner Welfare will soon launch Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0. This campaign will run from November 1-30, 2025. This campaign will be provided door-to-door to elderly and disabled pensioners. Submitting life certificates will become much easier for pensioners. Face authentication technology will be used for this purpose, allowing seniors to submit their life certificates from the comfort of their homes.
What is face authentication technology?
Every year, pensioners are required to submit their life certificate. This life certificate is done between 1st and 30th November. Failure to do so can result in the pension holder’s pension being stopped. Earlier, one had to visit the government office to submit this certificate, but now this work can be done from home through face authentication. Actually, face authentication technology scans your face live through the camera and matches it with the already recorded data. Let us understand this process.

1. First of all download Aadhaar Face RD Application.
2. Now you have to download ‘Jeevan Pramaan App’ on your phone.
3. Now open the ‘Jeevan Pramaan App’. You will see the ‘Operator Authentication’ screen.
4. Click the Aadhaar checkbox here and enter your Aadhaar number
5. Enter your mobile number and email address, and press the Submit button.
6. You will then receive an OTP on your mobile number and email address; enter it.

8. A new screen will appear. Enter your name and select the ‘Scan’ option by ticking the checkbox.
9. The app will then ask for permission to scan your face. Tap Yes.
10. The instructions will appear on the screen, read them and tap “I am aware of this” and then tap Proceed.
11. Your face will now be scanned.
12. After this enter the asked information and once your face will be scanned again and you will get the proof ID and PPO number.
13. To download your certificate, log in to the Jeevan Pramaan website and enter your proof ID. Your proof will be downloaded immediately.
