Ladli Behna Yojana 2025 : Good news for crores of Ladli sisters who are waiting for the next installment of Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana. The 24th installment of the scheme will be released by the 15th, as the government has changed the date of sending the amount. During the cabinet meeting in April, the Mohan government had decided that it would send the amount to the sisters’ account around the 15th of every month.

Although the amount of the scheme was released in the accounts of Ladli sisters between 1st to 10th of every month till March 2025, but in April, Rs 1250 of the 23rd installment was sent on the 16th and from now on, for the next installment, one will have to wait till the 15th instead of the 10th. Apart from this, the amount for cylinder refilling will also be released to more than 25 lakh sisters on the same day.

1550 crores required every month as per 1250

The government needs more than 1500 crore rupees every month for the Ladli Behna Yojana and recently the government has increased the dearness allowance of employees and pensioners, so now the Madhya Pradesh government is waiting for Rs 1.11 lakh crore as part of the Union Budget for 2025-26. This tax received from the central government comes in 14 installments every year and this fund comes on the 10th of every month. There is also news that due to the release of funds on the 10th of every month, the state government has changed the date of release of the amount of Ladli Behna Yojana.

 You get 1250 rupees every month

Ladli Behna Yojana was launched by the previous Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in May 2023. The main objective of Ladli Behna Yojana is to economically empower the women of Madhya Pradesh and improve their lives.

Under this scheme, it was decided to give Rs 1000 to married women between 21 and 60 years of age and then its first installment was released on June 10.

After this, the amount was increased to Rs 1250 on Rakshabandhan 2023.

Now under this scheme, women get Rs 15,000 annually at the rate of Rs 1250 per month. A total of 23 installments of monthly financial assistance amount has been transferred to the Ladli sisters from June 2023 to April 2025.

Apart from this, special financial assistance of Rs 250 was also transferred to the beneficiary women in the months of August 2023 and 2024 (total 2 times).

Ladli Behna Yojana : Age/Eligibility/Rules

In this scheme, all married women (including widows, divorced and abandoned women) who are local residents of Madhya Pradesh and born after 1 January 1963 but till 1 January 2000 are considered eligible to apply in the year 2023.

Women, there should not be any taxpayer either in themselves or in their family. Annual income of the family should be Rs 2.5 lakh.

If it is a joint family, then there should not be more than 5 acres of land, no one in the family should be in a government job. There should not be a tractor or a four-wheeler at home.

If a woman is below 60 years of age and is already receiving less than Rs 1250 per month under any other social security pension scheme, then that woman will also be given an amount up to Rs 1250.

Married women also include widows and divorced women. The applicant must have completed 21 years of age on 1 January of the year in which the application is made and the maximum age should be less than 60 years.

Women of families whose family member is a current or former MP, MLA or is holding any government post will also not be eligible for the Ladli Behna Yojana.

If the woman’s husband does not have the eligibility to get the benefits under the government scheme, then she will also not be able to avail the benefits of this scheme.
