26th January Parade Ticket: India is gearing up to celebrate its 77th Republic Day on January 26, 2026. Preparations are in full swing in the capital, Delhi. This is the day when the nation and the world unite to witness the strength of the Indian Army, state tableaux, and cultural performances. Millions of people are excited to participate in this parade.
The main Republic Day parade will take place on January 26th at Rajpath in New Delhi. Following this, the Beating the Retreat ceremony will occur on January 28th and 29th, marking the grand conclusion of the entire festival. Tickets for both events are necessary, and it’s advisable to book them ahead of time.

If you prefer to book tickets from the comfort of your home, you can do so online via the Ministry of Defense’s invitation portal. You will need to register with your mobile number and log in. After that, select the event, either the Parade or Beating the Retreat, and choose your seating preference.
Once you’ve selected the event, enter the ticket number. Then, provide your required information and upload a valid photo ID, such as Aadhaar or Voter ID. After that, complete the online payment. Once the payment is finalized, you can download your e-ticket and print it if you wish.

For those who prefer not to purchase tickets online, government offline counters are also available throughout Delhi. Tickets can be bought directly by presenting an original photo ID. Counters are located at Sena Bhawan, Shastri Bhawan, Jantar Mantar, Parliament House, Rajiv Chowk Metro Station, and Kashmere Gate Metro Station.
Carry the same photo ID while going to the event that was provided at the time of booking. The ticket is valid only for the selected date and event. It is better to arrive at least 1 to 2 hours early. There are security checks at all gates, so do not carry prohibited items. On Republic Day, traffic is restricted on Rajpath and surrounding areas. In such cases, using public transport is the best option. Keep the e-ticket saved on your mobile or carry a printed copy. With a little planning, you can fully enjoy this historic parade.
