Employees can also check their PF account status online. For this, you need both your UAN number and password. It’s also important to have your mobile number linked to your PF account.
How to Link a Mobile Number to a PF Account
To update your mobile number on your PF account, an employee must first visit the EPFO’s official website, https://unifiedportal.epfo.gov.
The employee must then enter their UAN number and password. Then, click ‘Sign In’.
An OTP will then be sent to your registered mobile number, which you must enter here.
You will then be logged in to your account.
You will see several sections here, but you only need to go to the Manage section.
Then, the employee will need to click on the Contact Details option.
After this, you will need to click on the Change Mobile Number option.
Then, you will need to enter your new mobile number twice.
Then, click on the “Get Mobile OTP” option. Enter the OTP received on your new mobile number.
After this, click “Submit.”
Your new mobile number will then be linked to your PF account.
