The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare of the Government of India launched this scheme in 2015. Under this scheme, farmers are issued soil health cards. This provides information about the health of the soil. If there is a nutrient deficiency in the soil, farmers can use this card to address the deficiency.

These documents are required
Regarding the necessary documents, documents such as Aadhaar card, income certificate, address proof, mobile number, and email ID are required. Without these documents, you cannot benefit from the scheme.

How to apply for the scheme
First, visit the official website soilhealth.dac.gov.in.
After that, select your state on the home page.
Now register yourself.
Following this, farmers must fill out the registration form.
Enter all the requested details and upload the required documents.
After the registration process is complete, farmers will receive a UID number.
Following this, farmers can use this card.
