7th Pay Commission Update: Central government employees are now eagerly awaiting the DA hike. The question on the minds of all the employees is how much their DA will increase this time. The government had last increased the DA by only 1%. The rates of the DA that will be improved take effect as of July 1, 2025. This will be considered a gift from the central government in the monsoon season. It is expected that the DA may increase in the first week of August. However, the Modi government has not made an official statement yet. Such claims are being reported in the media.

How much will the DA increase?

The Modi government can increase the dearness allowance (DA) of central employees by up to 3 per cent. After this, the DA will increase to 58 per cent. By the way,  currently, central employees are receiving a 55 per cent D benefit. The government had last increased the DA by 2%, which was a significant shock. Now, if the DA is increased by 3%, there will be a substantial jump in the salary, which is sure to be an excellent benefit for the employees.

How much will the salary increase?

If the DA of central employees is increased by 3%, there will be a significant salary increase. After this, DA will increase to 58%. If the basic pay of an employee is Rs 30,000 per month, then there will be a jump of Rs 900 in it. Regarding the annual salary increase, it will increase by up to Rs 10,800.

When will the 8th Pay Commission be implemented?

Central government employees are now eagerly awaiting the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission. The question on everyone’s mind is when the 8th Pay Commission will be implemented. The central government has been formed.

The government can now form it soon. If this happens, it can be implemented in any month of the year 2026. As soon as it is implemented, a significant increase in the salaries of central employees can be observed.
