New Delhi: The 19th season of the Indian Premier League is set to commence without any dance performances, songs, or musical fanfare. As a mark of respect and tribute to the 11 cricket fans who lost their lives during RCB’s title celebrations in the previous IPL season, the BCCI has decided against holding an opening ceremony. On March 28—that is, this evening—at 7:30 PM, RCB and Sunrisers Hyderabad will kick off the season.
Excitement is palpable on the faces of both cricket fans and players ahead of the match. This time around, RCB’s morale will be sky-high, as they enter the tournament as the defending champions. They are determined to give their absolute all to secure the IPL title for a second time. Once again, ten teams are participating in this edition of the Indian Premier League.
These teams include Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, Gujarat Titans, and Mumbai Indians. All teams will be aiming to deliver strong performances in their quest for victory. Before the IPL gets underway, you can take a look at the probable playing elevens for all the participating teams.
