How many times can you get free treatment with the Ayushman Card?

For your information, this scheme was launched in 2018. Under the Ayushman Card scheme, the government provides free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh per year to a family. This amount is provided for the entire family, not just for one member.

For example, if a family has 4, 5, or 6 members, all members together can avail of free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in a year, but there is no fixed limit on the number of treatments. This means you can get treatment multiple times in a year. However, the condition is that the cost of treatment should be within the limit of Rs 5 lakh.

Who is eligible for the Ayushman Bharat Yojana?

Only those who meet the eligibility criteria set by the government can avail of the benefits of the Ayushman Yojana. Under this scheme, poor people, laborers, people from rural areas, and economically weaker families are eligible.
