New Delhi: The central and state governments continue to provide new benefits to employees. Amidst the monsoon rains, the government has announced an increase in the honorarium for multipurpose workers, water guards, para-pump operators, and parafitters. The Himachal Pradesh government’s Jal Shakti Department has also issued orders in this regard. This decision will benefit approximately 10,000 workers.
The honorarium of the employees will now increase. According to the guidelines of the state government, the honorarium of multipurpose workers has been increased by Rs 500, and the honorarium of water guards, para pump operators and parafitters has been increased by Rs 300. How much is the honorarium of the employees?
Following the order of the Himachal government, the salaries of employees have increased by Rs 3,000. After this, Jalrakshak will receive an honorarium of Rs 5,600 instead of Rs 5,300, para pump operators will receive Rs 6,600 instead of Rs 6,300, para multipurpose workers will receive Rs 5,500 instead of Rs 5,000, and parafitters will receive Rs 6,600 instead of Rs 6,300. The new rates will take effect from April 2025, so outstanding benefits from April to June will be available. However, the arrears have not been mentioned in the order.
Workers’ luck shines in the third budget.
For your information, let us inform you that in March, the Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh presented its third budget of Rs 58,514 crore for the tenure.
In this budget, the CM had announced to give honorarium of Rs 5,000 to MDM workers, Rs 5500 to water carriers, Rs 5600 to water guards, Rs 5500 to multipurpose workers and Rs 6600 to parafitters and pump operators. After this, in June, the Jal Shakti Department issued orders in this regard. Approximately 10,000 state employees will receive this benefit.
