DA Hike – Another good news is here for state government employees.After Central Government and so many states, now one more state government increase Dearness Allowance. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given a big relief to the state employees and pensioners by announcing an increase of two percent in dearness allowance.
Now the state government personnel, civil-family pensioners, local bodies, aided educational institutions, state universities and technical institutions receiving salary under the 7th Pay Commission will get dearness allowance increased from 53 percent to 55 percent from January 1, 2025.
This decision of the Pushkar Singh Dhami government will directly benefit thousands of government employees and pensioners, which will increase their purchasing power and help in reducing the impact of inflation. There has been a continuous discussion about the increase in DA in the recent days.
Along with this, Chief Minister Dhami has also accelerated the development of infrastructure in the state. Rs 13.86 crore has been approved for the construction of tehsil building in Champawat district and Rs 3.88 crore has been approved for Lamgara tehsil building under Jageshwar assembly constituency of Almora district. These construction works will improve administrative facilities and the public will be able to get better services.
The central government had increased the dearness allowance of its employees by two percent. The state government has also taken steps in this direction like the center. The employees and teachers of the state will get increased dearness allowance from January 1, 2025. After getting the green signal to the proposal from the Chief Minister, now the order will be issued in this regard by the Finance Department.
Also, CM has sanctioned Rs 3 crore for demolition and temporary displacement work of the pre-built structure of Pantnagar Green Field Airport in Udham Singh Nagar district and runway and expansion of the said airport and Rs 2.63 crore for construction of parking, boundary wall and access road in Kanalichhina Tehsil complex of Pithoragarh district.
