Rain alert in these states
According to the Meteorological Department, on May 6, warnings have been issued for thunderstorms and rain in many areas of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Odisha. Also, rain with strong winds may occur in many parts of Bihar. Winds of 70 kmph can blow here. There is a possibility of hailstorms and thunderstorms in Odisha, Chhattisgarh and eastern Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain warning was issued on May 6 and in the the Nicobar Islands from 6 to 8 May.
