Gold Price Drop: Gold and silver prices have been rising steadily over the past few days. However, on December 2nd, both gold and silver prices fell sharply. Silver, which had reached a new lifetime high on Monday, fell by thousands of rupees on Tuesday. The wedding season is underway in India, and people are buying a lot of gold jewellery. People are pleased to see the drop in gold and silver prices. Gold has also fallen by more than ₹1,100 per 10 grams in the past few days.
Gold Silver Price Drop MCX
Silver prices fell on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Tuesday. Silver closed at ₹1,82,030 per kg on Monday, but on Tuesday, its price fell to ₹1,77,372 per kg. This means the price of silver dropped by approximately ₹4,658 per kg.
Regarding gold prices, gold futures with February 5th expiry were recorded at ₹130,652 on Monday. However, they opened lower on Tuesday and continued to fall throughout the day. Yesterday, gold reached ₹129,355 per 10 grams.
Gold Silver Rate Today on IBJA
According to the IBJA website, both gold and silver rates declined. 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹129,141 per 10 grams on Tuesday morning, while by market close, gold had reached ₹127,593 per 10 grams. This represents a decline of ₹1,207 in a single day. Silver also fell from ₹175,180 per kg to ₹174,650 per kg. Silver became cheaper by ₹530 per kg.
