Gold Rate Drop: Daily fluctuations are being observed in the prices of gold and silver. On April 23, gold and silver prices declined on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX). Similarly, gold and silver prices dropped in the IBJA market. On the MCX, gold was seen trading at approximately ₹1,51,947 per 10 grams, while silver reached around ₹2,43,856 per kilogram. Meanwhile, according to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold dropped by ₹927 to reach ₹1.51 lakh. Prior to this, on April 22, its price stood at ₹1.52 lakh per 10 grams. Similarly, the price of one kilogram of silver declined by ₹4,700, settling at ₹2.43 lakh. Previously, on Tuesday, its price was ₹2.48 lakh per kilogram.

Furthermore, following today’s price reduction, 23-carat gold has reached ₹150,584 per 10 grams. Previously, the price of this gold variety was ₹151,507 per 10 grams. The rate for 22-carat gold dropped today to reach ₹138,489 per 10 grams, down from ₹139,338 per 10 grams yesterday. Additionally, the price of 18-carat gold has reached ₹113,392 per 10 grams, down from ₹114,087 per 10 grams. Finally, the price of 14-carat gold is ₹88,446 per 10 grams.

According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-carat gold has dropped by ₹927, reaching ₹151,189 per 10 grams. On the previous day, its price stood at ₹152,116. Meanwhile, the rate for 22-carat gold has reached ₹138,489.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold for June delivery declined by ₹1,036, settling at ₹151,621 per 10 grams. However, at the time of writing, gold was trading at ₹152,371. On the MCX, the May silver contract witnessed a sharp decline, falling to ₹244,279 per kilogram.
