At the same time, people in rural areas will benefit a lot because according to information, the electricity consumption of people living in rural areas is so much that it is almost met by free electricity.

According to an estimate, 1.86 crore electricity consumers in Bihar will get a big benefit of free electricity because their electricity bill will become zero as per consumption. At the same time, the balance of free electricity will also be visible so that you get complete information and you can also assess yourself.

The bill to be issued in August for postpaid consumers of Bihar will be prepared with a direct deduction of 125 units. At the same time, those with smart prepaid meters will not have to do any recharge up to 125 units. If the recharge has already been done, then the amount of that unit will be added to their remaining balance.

According to the Bihar government, 1.67 crore consumers consume an average of 125 units or less of electricity every month. In such a situation, these consumers will now be able to directly avail 100 percent subsidy. The Energy Department has already clarified that to avail the benefits of the scheme, consumers will not have to make any kind of application or registration. The scheme will be implemented automatically and information about the benefits will be given through SMS.
