Now this question is coming to the minds of many people, whether their name is in this list or not. So now voters have a chance to check whether their name has been removed from the list or is safe. How to check your name in the draft voter list of Bihar?
If you are a voter of Bihar, then you can check your name online in the SIR draft voter list. For this, you have to adopt one of these two methods:
1. From the website of the Chief Electoral Officer, Bihar
First of all, you have to go to the website of the Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar.
Here you will find the link to ‘SIR Draft Electoral Roll w.r.t. 01.07.2025’ in the section ‘Current Updates’.
On clicking on this, a new window will open, where some information will be asked of you.
By filling in the required information, you can download the list according to your booth.
2. Directly from the Voter Service Portal
You can also check the list directly by going to the link.
On this page, you will get the option of ‘State’, ‘District’, ‘Assembly Constituency’, ‘Select Language’, and ‘Roll Type’.
‘Bihar’ will already be selected in ‘State’.
After this, select your ‘District’ and ‘Assembly Constituency’.
You can select ‘Hindi’ in the language.
In ‘Roll Type’, you have to select ‘Draft Roll 2025’.
Many lists will appear below, where you can click on the list according to your booth.
After filling in the captcha, you can check your name in the list by clicking on ‘download selected PDF’.
What to do if the name is not in the list
If you do not find your name in the draft voter list, then you do not need to panic at all. You have to fill out and submit Form 6 immediately. You can download this form online. You can take this form offline from the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) or Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO) of your assembly constituency and submit it there.
