It is being speculated that farmers may receive the next instalment of ₹2,000 in the second month of the new year.
This instalment will be provided under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and will be a welcome gift. In 2025, farmers received three instalments of ₹2,000 each, including the 19th, 20th, and 21st insinstalmentsow, all farmers are eagerly awaiting the next instalment. Approximately 10 crore farmers will benefit from this next instalment. This will be great news for them.

Which instalinstalmentsbe released in 2026?
Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers are scheduled to receive three installinstalments000 each in 2026. The 22nd, 23rd, and 24th instalments were released in 2026. A total of ₹6,000 will be transferred in these instalments. The interval between each iinstalmentwill be four months. Meanwhile, the financial budget may be presented on February 1, 2026.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman may present the budget. The amount allocated to the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana may be increased in the budget. If the budget allocation is increased, farmers will receive a higher amount. The central government had allocated a budget of ₹63,500 crore for the financial years 2025 and 2026. Whether the budget will be increased this time or not cannot be said for sure at this point.

When was the 21st installed?
The 21st insinstalment the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 19 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Since then, farmers associated with the scheme have been eagerly awaiting the 22nd instalment. This instalment is expected to be released by the last week of February. Approximately 100 million farmers are expected to benefit from this instalment. The date for releasing the insinstalmentll be decided only after the budget is presented. All eyes are now on the Union Budget 2026. It remains to be seen what the government will announce for the farmers.
