This news is no less than a Diwali bonus for the women of Haryana. If you’re from Haryana and want financial assistance of ₹2,100 deposited into your bank account every month, this article is just for you. The government has opened its coffers under the Deendayal Lado Laxmi Yojana. The first installment has been released, and the second is eagerly awaited. Let’s understand, in simple terms, how you can benefit from this scheme and when the next installment will arrive.

What is the Deendayal Lado Laxmi Yojana

A wave of empowering women is sweeping across the country. Following the immense success of the “Ladki Behin” scheme in Maharashtra and the “Ladli Behna” scheme in Madhya Pradesh, the Haryana government has now announced the Deendayal Lado Laxmi Yojana. Fulfilling its pre-election promise, the BJP government is determined to empower women financially.

Under this scheme, eligible women will receive a monthly payment of ₹2,100. The government has allocated ₹5,000 crore for this in the 2025-26 budget. This clearly indicates that the government is committed to ensuring the long-term implementation of this scheme and will ensure no shortage of funds.

When will the second installment arrive

This question is on every woman’s lips these days. As we know, the first installment of the scheme was released on November 1st. Since the money arrived on the first of the month, it is expected that the government will transfer the amount at the beginning of each month. Although the government has not yet made any official “confirmed announcement” regarding the date of the second installment, sources and past patterns suggest that you may receive a bank message on your mobile very soon. So, keep your bank account and mobile number active.

Who will benefit from the scheme

The government has established certain rules to ensure that the money reaches only the most needy women. The woman must be a resident of Haryana. If you are from another state but have been living in Haryana for the last 15 years after marriage, you can still apply. The woman must be 23 years of age or older. The family’s annual income must be less than ₹1 lakh. This scheme is designed with poor and middle-class families in mind. It is mandatory to have a Haryana Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP).
