How to Open a Savings Account with Video KYC
When you apply for a savings account online through the bank’s website or app, you receive a KYC link via email or SMS upon completing registration. Clicking on this link takes you to the Video KYC page, where the entire process is explained.
A bank employee then connects with you via video call. They ask for basic information such as your name, address, and current location. During the conversation, you must show your identity documents, such as your Aadhaar card and PAN card, to the camera. You must also show your signature on white paper to complete the signature verification. Once the bank employee is satisfied with your information, the Video KYC process is completed. A message will then be sent to your registered mobile number.
