Eastern Railway has given a big update on the ‘One Station One Product’ of the Railways. The Railways has invited applications for 113 stalls at 105 stations of the Howrah division. Individuals working with domestic products, self-help groups, marginalised or weaker sections of society can apply for these stalls.
For how long will the lease be given?
The lease period for One Station One Product stalls is from 15 days to 90 days. Of course, the stall of Howrah station is not in this list.
In which stations can One Station One Product stalls be opened?
3 stalls each at Bolpur Santiniketan, Memari and Burdwan stations and 2 stalls each at Rampurhat and Jaugram stations are being leased. In addition, the remaining 100 stations of Howrah division i.e. Adisaptagram, Agradwip, Ahmedpur, Ambika Kalna, Arambagh, Azimganj Junction, Azimganj City, Baghnapara, Bahirkhand, Baidyabati, Bainchi, Bainchigram, Balagarh, Balrambati, Balgona, Bali, Bandel, Banshberia, Baruipara, Bazarsau, Begumpur, Behula, Belanagar, Belerhat, Belmuri, Belur, Bhadreshwar, Bhandartikuri, Bhedia, Bishnupriya, Chandannagar, Chandanpur, Chunchura, Daihat, Dankuni, Devipur, Diara, Gangatikuri, Garifa, Gobra, Guptipara, Gurap, Guskara, Haripal, Hajigarh, Hindmotor, Hooghly, Hooghly Ghat, Janai Road, Zirat, Koikala, Kamarkundu, Katwa, Khagraghat Road, Khamargachhi, Khana, Khanyan, Konnagar, Kustighat, Laxmipur, Lilua, Loknath, Madhusudanpur, Mallarpur, Mankundu, Masagram, Mayapur, Mirzapur Bankipur, Magra, Nabadwip Dham, Nabagram, Nalhati, Nalikul, Nasibpur, Pakur, Pallaroad, Palsit, Pandua, Patuli, Porabazar, Prantik, Purbasthali, Rajgram, Rasulpur, Riyara, Sainthia, Shaktigarh, Salar, Samudragarh, Sheoraphuli Junction, Shivaichandi, Simlagarh, Singur, Somra Bazar, Srirampur, Taladdu, Talit, Tarkeshwar, Tribeni and Uttarpara stations have been called upon to open one shop stall each.

How much registration fee will be paid?
In case of stalls at Guskara, Ahmedpur, Bhedia, Khana, Talit, Prantik, Pakur, Mallarpur, Nalhati, Rajgram, Sainthia, Azimganj City, Azimganj Junction, Bazarsau, Gangatikuri, Khagraghat Road and Salar stations, if leased for 15 days, the charge will be 500 taka (including GST). In case of remaining stations, if leased for 15 days, the charge will be 1000 taka (including GST).
What facilities will the Railways provide?
The Railways will provide the stalls or outlets. The initial facility of using maximum 20 units of electricity in a period of 15 days at each ‘One Station One Product’ outlet will be included in the registration charge. Electricity will be provided on a pro-rata basis for periods exceeding 15 days.

Who can apply?
(1) Artisan/Weaver Identity Card issued by the Development Commissioner Handicrafts, Development Commissioner-Handloom or the competent authority of the State/Central Government.
(2) Artisan/Weaver/Artisan listed/registered with Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Limited (TRIFED)/National Handloom Development Corporation (NHDC)/Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) etc.
(3) Self Help Groups registered under PMEGP (Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme).
(4) Marginalised or weaker sections of the society.
(5) Artisan/Weaver/Artisan associated with NGOs and micro enterprises registered in the UDYAM portal of the Ministry of MSME.
(6) Persons/artisans/weavers associated with social service organizations, State Government organizations etc.
The Railways has informed that the application should be written on the letterhead of the organization or on white paper and the applicant should fill in the required documents in a sealed envelope addressed to the Eastern Railway, Howrah, New Divisional Railway Manager. This sealed envelope should be deposited at a designated place outside the office of the Station Manager of the station. Further information in this regard can be obtained from the Station Manager.
