PM Kisan Yojana- As the festive season begins, the wait for good news for farmers has increased even more. The central government is soon going to release the 21st installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana . Crores of farmers across the country are eagerly waiting for Rs 2,000 each to come into their bank accounts . But this time the government has made it clear that if the farmers do not complete the necessary formalities , the money may get stuck .

Last time the 20th installment was released on 2 August 2025 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from his parliamentary constituency Varanasi . During this time , about 20,500 crore rupees were transferred directly to the bank accounts of 9.71 crore farmers . Now the eyes of the farmers are fixed on the 21st installment . If we look at the past records , the government has released installments only between August and November .

In such a situation, it is expected that this time the installment can come in the accounts of the farmers before Diwali . At the same time, Bihar elections are to be held this year. There is a discussion in political circles that the central government can give the next installment of Rs 2000 to the farmers even before the code of conduct is imposed . That is, farmers can get Diwali gift in October .

The central government has clarified that the installment of those farmers who have not completed the necessary formalities may get stuck.
