If you work in the private sector and have EPF, a new feature is launched. EPFO has started the Passbook Lite feature. Now members can see their full PF account details in one click, without login. You can check your PF details directly from the portal.

Before this, you had to log in to the Passbook portal to check PF balance or transactions. But now, with Passbook Lite, this problem is solved. Even if you don’t get a message on your phone, you can still see how much money is added to your PF account through Passbook Lite.

What is the Passbook Lite feature?

Now employees can see full details of their contribution, withdrawals, and total balance directly on the member portal. Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya launched this service. He said this feature will make it easier for PF members and also reduce load on the old Passbook portal.

Benefits of Passbook Lite

The biggest benefit is that you don’t need to go to many places for different information. All details are in one place. You can take a screenshot of your PF details. It saves time and removes the problem of remembering passwords.

PF Transfers Made Easy

The PF transfer process with Form 13 is now faster. Earlier, the old PF office made an Annexure K certificate and sent it to the new office. Now employees can download Annexure K directly in PDF from the member portal. This makes the transfer quick and gives better control to employees.

Fund Transfer Tracking

Employees can now check PF transfer status online. They can see if money is sent to the new account and if balance and service details are updated.
