LPG Gas Price : New month, new prices are declared. Government oil companies have provided significant relief to the public during Navratri 2025. As is customary, on Tuesday, April 1, the companies updated the prices of LPG cylinders, effective immediately. Notably, there has been a substantial drop in the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders. In March, just before Holi, the companies had raised the price by Rs 6, but there has been no change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders.

The price of the 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs 41, effective today. In Delhi, the new retail price for the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder is now Rs 1762. This marks a decrease from the previous price of Rs 1803.

So, what are the new prices for commercial LPG cylinders in Mumbai and Kolkata?

This move by the oil marketing companies will ease the burden for millions who rely on these commercial LPG gas cylinders for cooking in places like dhabas, restaurants, and hotels. Following the latest reduction, the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder in Kolkata is now Rs 1872, down from Rs 1913. In Mumbai, the price has dropped to Rs 1714.50 from Rs 1755.50, while in Chennai, it now stands at Rs 1924, down from Rs 1965.

Prices are adjusted on the first of each month.
It’s worth noting that oil marketing companies revise LPG gas cylinder prices on the first of every month, adjusting them based on demand. The last increase for commercial LPG gas cylinders was Rs 6 on March 1, but there has been no change for the 14.2 kg LPG gas cylinders.
