A video is going viral on social media, where a petrol pump employee demonstrates the correct method of filling petrol and diesel. You can also learn the correct method. If you want to catch a petrol pump employee’s cleverness, you must first keep some important things in mind. Find out which ones are crucial below.

Keep these important things in mind when filling petrol

In a viral video on social media, you can see a man explaining why people only fill petrol at ₹110, ₹210, and ₹310. The petrol pump employee says, “Forget all this. You just need to keep two things in mind when filling petrol. This will ensure you’ll never be cheated.”

The first thing you need to do is check the density on the machine. It’s written like this: it should be between 720 and 775. The person further explains that diesel has a density of 820 to 860. This density indicates how pure the fuel you’re filling is. What is its quality, and whether it’s been adulterated?

Looking at 0 won’t help.

When someone fills up at a petrol pump, the first thing they notice is the 0 on the machine. But the next number must be 5. After 0, there should be 2, 3, 4, etc. Sometimes the meter jumps from 0 and goes straight to 10, 12, or 15. In such a situation, there’s a chance the machine has been tampered with and is being used to dispense less petrol or diesel.
