How to check PF balance without a UAN number
First, send an SMS to 7738299899.
The SMS format should be as follows: EPFOHO UAN ENG
If you want to change your language, write the language code instead of ENG. For example: HIN (Hindi), PUN (Punjabi), GUJ (Gujarati), MAR (Marathi), TAM (Tamil), MAL (Malayalam), BEN (Bengali), KAN (Kannada).
This will only work if your bank account, Aadhaar, and PAN are linked to your UAN.
Checking balance via Missed Call
If you don’t receive the balance via SMS, you can also find out your balance through a missed call.
Give a missed call to 9966044425 from your registered mobile number.
After the missed call, you will receive an SMS containing complete information about your PF balance.

For this, too, the UAN must be linked to PAN or Aadhaar, and the UAN must be active.
Download the PF Passbook through the UMANG app
First, download the UMANG app on your phone.
In the app, go to the List of Services and select EPFO.
Go to Employee Centric Services and then to View Passbook. Enter your UAN number, then enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
Click on Submit, select your company name, and download your passbook.
