Where and When Will the Next Meeting Take Place?

Discussions regarding the next meeting of the 8th Pay Commission have already begun. The Commission has also released a schedule for these upcoming sessions. The next meetings of the new Pay Commission are slated to be held in Hyderabad, Srinagar, and Ladakh. The primary objective of these meetings is to engage in dialogue with stakeholders—including government organisations, institutions, and employee unions/associations—regarding matters pertinent to the Pay Commission.

These meetings are scheduled to be held in May and June 2026. Additionally, interested parties are required to first submit their memoranda on the official website of the 8th Pay Commission. Following this submission, they will need to request an appointment to meet with the 8th CPC.

Dr Manjit Singh Patel, National President of the All India NPS Employees Federation, shared significant information via a post on his ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) handle. He announced that the HHonourable8th CPC has released the schedule for its meetings in Hyderabad (Telangana), Ladakh, and Srinagar.

When Will the 8th Pay Commission Visit Hyderabad?

As per a notification issued on May 1, 2026, the Commission is scheduled to visit Hyderabad from May 18 to May 19. Stakeholders interested in interacting with the panel are required to first submit a memorandum on the official website.

Subsequently, they must request an appointment via a prescribed online form by May 8, 2026. To schedule an appointment, the unique Memorandum ID generated at the time of submitting the memorandum will be required.

In a separate update, the Commission has confirmed its visit to Srinagar from June 1 to June 4. Organisations and associations representing both the Central Government and the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are eligible to participate in this visit.
