Farmers’ Good News – Nitish Kumar’s rule has once again begun in Bihar. He took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 10th time today. But did you know that this tenure of Nitish Kumar has brought great relief for farmers? Now, Bihar farmers will receive Rs. 9,000 per year, not Rs. 6,000.
Farmers may be confused by this, but it’s true. The Bihar government will launch the Karpoori Thakur Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The NDA has included this scheme in its manifesto. Now, if the NDA government is formed, the government may soon launch the Karpoori Thakur Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, farmers will be given three instalments.
Bihar’s farmers will benefit.
After Nitish Kumar became the Chief Minister of Bihar, the government may soon implement the Karpoori Thakur Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana for farmers, as per its manifesto. Once this scheme is launched, farmers will again receive three instalments every year, each instalment consisting of Rs. 1,000.
This means that assistance of ₹3,000 will be provided in three instalments annually. Each instalment will be four months apart. This scheme will benefit approximately 7.3 million farmers in Bihar. The clear implication is that only those who are enrolled in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will benefit. The government will favour and marginal farmers.
How will farmers receive ₹9,000 annually?
Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the central government transfers ₹6,000 to farmers in three instalments of ₹2,000 each. Each instalment is spaced four months apart.
If the Karpoori Thakur Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is implemented in Bihar, then ₹3,000 will be provided annually in three instalments of ₹1,000 each. Consequently, Bihar farmers will receive ₹9,000 annually. According to a report, approximately 7.3 million farmers will benefit from this.
21st Instalment Released
The government delivered the good news by releasing the 21st instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on November 21st. Approximately 9 crore farmers have benefited from this in instalments. Narendra Modi transferred this amount via DBT from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
