Toyota Fortuner Next-Gen Launch: If you’re a fan of the Toyota Fortuner but were a little hesitant because of its outdated interior and lack of features, there’s some great news for you. Toyota has begun testing its next-generation Fortuner globally, and it was recently spotted on the roads alongside the massive Camelz.

According to the latest reports from March 1, 2026, the new Fortuner will be more muscular, high-tech, and safer than ever before. The company will be adding powerful features like ADAS and a massive 12.3-inch screen for the first time, making it a strong contender against fierce rivals like the Ford Everest.

The next-generation Fortuner will not only feature cosmetic changes, but will also be built on a completely new and updated platform. The upcoming model will be built on an improved IMV ladder-frame architecture, also used in the new Hilux. This will not only increase the vehicle’s rigidity but also significantly improve its ride quality and steering control. The major update focuses on the suspension system and reducing cabin noise (NVH levels), making long journeys more comfortable.

A major complaint from Fortuner enthusiasts was its safety technology. The latest updates have confirmed that the new Fortuner will feature Toyota Safety Sense.
