:- Continuous fluctuations are being observed in the prices of gold and silver within the bullion markets of the national capital. Gold rates, in particular, have been witnessing a consistent upward trend. On the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX), both gold and silver were trading higher.

As of 10:17 PM on Monday, silver was trading with a gain of ₹4,376 on the MCX, while gold held steady with a gain of ₹671. By 11:29 PM on May 25, 2026—prior to market close—June-delivery gold on the MCX stood at ₹159,025 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, regarding silver, the July-delivery contract remained at ₹276,400.

According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹158,860 per 10 grams at the time of market closure on Friday. In contrast, the price of 22-carat gold stood at ₹155,040 per 10 grams. The latest gold rates from the IBJA are scheduled to be released today around 12:00 PM and again around 5:00 PM.

Prices in the Bullion Market
According to the All India Bullion Association, the price of silver in the capital remained steady at ₹271,000 per kilogram by the time the market closed on Friday. Conversely, the price of 24-carat gold rose by ₹300, reaching ₹165,200 per 10 grams (inclusive of all taxes). At the time of market closure on Friday, its price was ₹164,900 per 10 grams.

On the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX), opening prices for both gold and silver declined today. Immediately upon the market opening, the price of gold for June delivery declined to ₹158,688 per 10 grams. Consequently, gold prices have dropped by ₹337 today.

 

A decline was recorded in the opening prices of silver on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX). As the market opened, July-delivery silver fell to ₹273,689. In contrast, the price stood at ₹276,400 at the close of the previous trading session. Thus, the price of silver has decreased by ₹2,711.
