Scooter sales saw a tremendous surge, with popular models like the Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter, and Suzuki Access maintaining their dominance in the market. Honda Activa
Let me tell you that Honda Activa sales declined by 9.38%, but its crown is still intact. Activa sold 2,37,716 units in September 2025, compared to 2,62,316 units sold in the same month last year. That is, despite a shortfall of around 24,600 units, it held the number one position in the market with 36.86% market share.

TVS Jupiter
TVS Jupiter, which finished second after Honda Activa, performed in the market. Jupiter’s sales stood at 1,42,116 units in September 2025, 38.07% higher than the 1,02,934 units in September 2024. That means an increase of about 39,182 units! Jupiter achieved 22.03% market share this time and proved that it is Activa’s biggest challenger.

Suzuki Access
Demand for Suzuki Access also gained momentum. Its sales stood at 72,238 units in September 2025, up 34.48% from last year’s 53,715 units. Access has always been favored for its smooth ride and fuel efficiency, and this time it did not disappoint its fans.

TVS Ntorq and iQube
While TVS Ntorq’s sales declined by 13.56% and fell from 38,463 to 33,246 units, TVS iQube won the EV segment. iQube sales rose 8.03% to 30,820 units in September 2025. It became the best-selling Electric Scooter on this list.

Bajaj Chetak
The classic Bajaj Chetak is now winning hearts in its modern electric avatar. In September 2025, it sold 30,558 units, a 7.16% increase compared to the 28,517 units sold the previous year. It has solidified its position with a 4.74% market share.

Suzuki Burgman
The two variants of the Suzuki Burgman Street and Burgman Street EX performed exceptionally well. Sales surged by 90.80% in September 2025, reaching 28,254 units, compared to just 14,808 units in the same month last year. Thanks to its stylish design and premium features, the Burgman has carved a special place in the hearts of consumers.

Yamaha RayZR and Honda Dio
The Yamaha RayZR has performed brilliantly! It sold 27,280 units in September 2025, a 64.91% increase compared to the previous year. On the other hand, Honda Dio’s sales dropped by 32.63% to 23,829 units. This means the Dio will now have to do something new to win back its old fans.

Ather Rizta
If you talk about the most growth, then Ather Rizta left everyone behind. Its sales increased from 9,867 units to 18,919 units in September 2025 – ie a great increase of 91.74%!
