PNB Scheme: Deposit Rs 2 Lakh, Get Rs 99,732 Interest with Returns

Public sector Punjab National Bank (PNB) is providing attractive interest rates on FDs for its customers. PNB’s interest rates range from 3.00% to 7.40% for FD accounts across various tenors. With the current interest rates, a deposit of Rs 2 lakh in PNB’s FD scheme can yield a guaranteed fixed interest of up to Rs 99,732.

Punjab National Bank is offering impressive interest rates of up to 7.40% on FD accounts. Customers can open FD accounts with a minimum tenure of just 7 days, and investments can be made for a maximum of 10 years. PNB is providing attractive interest rates of 6.60% to 7.40% on 444-day FDs, while interest rates of 6.00% to 6.80% are available for FDs with tenors of 5 to 10 years.

Depositing Rs 2,00,000 will yield fixed interest of up to Rs 99,732 – If Rs 2 lakh is invested in Punjab National Bank’s 6-year FD scheme, a general customer will receive a total of Rs 2,85,901 at maturity, which includes Rs 85,901 as interest. Conversely, if you are a senior citizen and invest Rs 2 lakh in the same scheme, you will receive a total of Rs 2,99,732 at maturity, with Rs 99,732 being the fixed interest.

Similarly, a super senior citizen who deposits Rs 2 lakh in a 6-year FD will also receive a total of Rs 2,99,732, which includes interest of Rs 99,732. It is important to note that PNB offers the same interest rate for both senior and super senior citizens in the FD scheme for tenors of 5 to 10 years.
