Citroen Basalt,Aircross,and C3 Price Hike: Citroen India has given a significant blow to its customers by significantly increasing the prices of its three most successful vehicles—the Basalt,Aircross,and C3. The company has significantly increased the prices of the Basalt and Aircross by up to ₹20,000,while the popular C3 has now become more expensive by a whopping ₹15,000. However,there have been no significant changes to the mechanical features or engines of these magical machines.

The Citroen Basalt is now available in a premium range of ₹8.15 lakh to ₹13.35 lakh. The company has increased the prices of all its most popular trims,namely the You,Plus,and Max,by a whopping ₹20,000. The base UMT variant now costs ₹8.15 lakh,while the Plus Turbo AT has a new starting price of ₹12.27 lakh. The significant price difference in the Max trim is due to the unique 360-degree camera accessory,which will be installed at the dealership level. Affluent customers who prefer dual-tone colors will have to pay an additional ₹21,000. The Basalt,with its powerful 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine,is giving a strong and successful challenge to the Tata Curve.

The Citroen Aircross’s new,impressive prices now range from ₹8.49 lakh to ₹13.94 lakh. Almost all trims have seen a significant increase of ₹20,000,making the Aircross feel even more luxurious than before. The new entry-level price of the U 5-seater MT is ₹8.49 lakh,while the top-spec Max 7-seater Turbo AT will cost customers ₹13.94 lakh. A 360-degree camera is now offered as a standard accessory on the top-end model. However,it will not be factory-fitted but will be manually installed at the dealer level. The Aircross remains a strong competitor on the road against rivals like the Hyundai Creta.
Citroen C3 Price Hike 2026
Citroen’s most successful and robust hatchback,the C3,is now available at a premium price ranging from ₹4.95 lakh to ₹9.45 lakh. Except for the recently launched Live (O) trim,all other entry-level models have received a significant price hike of ₹15,000. The Live MT variant is now available at a robust ₹4.95 lakh,while the Shine Turbo AT will cost affluent buyers ₹9.45 lakh. The Shine trims’ impressive prices now fully include the cost of the 360-degree camera accessory. With its magical suspension,the C3 is sure to give the Tata Punch and Hyundai Xcent a strong and successful competition.
