Design
When it comes to design, both bikes offer distinct styles. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 offers a pure classic retro look. Its round headlamp, round taillight, and round halogen indicators evoke a nostalgic feel. Fork gaiters and blacked-out engine components enhance its aesthetics. Its vibrant colors are also very appealing – options like Rio White, Rebel Blue, and London Red are popular among young people.

On the other hand, the TVS Ronin features a neo-retro design, meaning it has a retro feel but also a modern touch. Its front section looks muscular, while the tail section is slim and sleek. Gold-colored upside-down forks (in the mid and top variants) and dual-tone color schemes give it a distinct identity on the road.
Engine and Performance
The real battle begins on the engine front. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is powered by a 349cc, air-cooled engine that produces 20.2 PS of power and 27 Nm of torque. Its biggest advantage is its low-end and mid-range torque. Simply put, this bike rules the crowded city streets. You won’t have to constantly change gears in traffic. However, it may feel a bit limited on the highway. The TVS Ronin uses a 225.9cc, air-oil-cooled engine that produces slightly more power at 20.4PS, but only 19.93Nm of torque. This engine delivers better performance at higher RPMs. This means the Ronin is good in the city, but you’ll also find it easier to overtake on the highway.
Suspension and Braking
When it comes to ride comfort and handling, both bikes take different paths. The Hunter 350 features 41mm telescopic forks and twin rear shock absorbers, which absorb potholes and irregularities very well. Braking is handled by a 300mm front disc and a 270mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS. It weighs 181kg and has a seat height of 790mm, which is suitable for most riders. The TVS Ronin is lighter and more advanced in this regard.
It features 41mm inverted forks and a rear monoshock. Weighing just 159kg, it’s easy to handle. Ground clearance is 181mm, making it easy to ride even on rough roads. Braking is also easy, with the Ronin offering ABS settings (Rain and Urban) for different riding modes, providing a new level of safety.
Features and Technology
The TVS Ronin clearly excels in terms of features. The Ronin features a fully-digital instrument console, providing all the necessary readouts, including a speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, and gear position indicator. The top variant even offers turn-by-turn navigation via smartphone connectivity.
Most notably, the entire bike features LED lighting. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350, on the other hand, comes with a semi-digital console, with the Tripper navigation pod as an optional feature. However, the 2025 model gets an LED headlight, which is a significant upgrade. If you’re a fan of modern technology and features, the Ronin will appeal more to you.

Price
Now comes the most important issue: price and decision. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is priced from ₹137,640 to ₹166,883 (ex-showroom). The TVS Ronin, meanwhile, starts at ₹135,990 and goes up to ₹173,720 for the top variant. So, both are priced almost identically.
