Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 vs Honda CB350 : If these bikes are retro-styled motorcycles with modern performance, then 2025 has something exciting for you! Powerful and stylish bikes-The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 and the Honda CB350-are creating a buzz all over India. Both these motorcycles have an old-school charm going for them, but what can they offer in terms of value for money, performance, and road presence? Let us compare them in plain language.
This new street roadster is the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450. This is the same platform that derives from the Himalayan 450. Getting equipped with a 452cc liquid-cooled engine, the engine produces close to 40 PS and 40 Nm, making it the most powerful roadster RE has produced so far.
It has a 6-speed gearbox, slipper clutch, and upside-down front forks. Its bold, muscular, and urban-ready design is made for city rides and cruising down the highways. Its single-pod digital display (which it borrows from the Himalayan) supports turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. The expected price is ₹2.60 – ₹2.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
On the other hand, Honda CB350 made its claim in a way in the retro segment. It has a displacement of 348 cc and an air-cooled engine that produces about 21 PS and also provides torque of 30 Nm. Though it falls short of the Guerrilla’s power output, it is super-smooth, refined, and excellent for a relaxed cruise.
The CB350 gets a couple of cool features like traction control, an assist-and-slipper clutch, and a rather classy semi-digital console, courtesy of Honda. The riding position is upright and comfortable-even for daily riding and for weekend excursions. The CB350 is priced at around ₹2-₹2.20 lakh (ex-showroom) depending on the variant.
On performance counts, it clearly outmatches CB350 in both higher power and better suspension setup. CB350 is a bit more refined and lightweight and much easier to maneuver, which would be the initial reason to go for it, as well as for those who prefer an easy cruising lifestyle instead of aggressive riding.
Both of these motorcycles have that retro appeal-while the Guerrilla feels more aggressive and sporty, the CB350 gives away that classy and elegant feel.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is the one to watch in 2025 if you are after power, bold design, and an exhilarating ride. But, if you enjoy smooth rides, reliability, and timeless fashion, then Honda CB350 still makes for a credible and trusted choice.
