The electric scooter market in India is buzzing with new launches. TVS has rolled out its Orbiter, which enters a direct contest with Ola S1 X+ and Vida VX2 Plus. TVS has equipped the Orbiter with a 3.1 kWh battery pack. On a full charge, the scooter claims a range of 158 km. Ola S1 X+ Battery and Speed

The Ola S1 X+ (Gen 3) packs a larger 4 kWh battery pack. It claims an impressive IDC range of 242 km, which is the highest among the three. The scooter generates a peak power output of 14.75 hp and reaches a top speed of 125 km/h. With this balance of speed and range, Ola positions the S1 X+ as a premium electric scooter for long-distance riders.

Vida VX2 Plus Performance

The Vida VX2 Plus comes with a 3.4 kWh power unit. It delivers a claimed range of 142 km per charge and accelerates from 0–40 km/h in just 3.1 seconds. Its top speed is 80 km/h, which gives it a balance between Orbiter and Ola. Vida highlights this scooter’s agility for quick city sprints while maintaining decent range.

The TVS Orbiter is launched at an attractive price of ₹99,900 (ex-showroom). Ola S1 X+ comes at a higher starting price of ₹1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, Vida VX2 Plus is priced at ₹82,790 (ex-showroom). For customers choosing the BaaS option, the Vida VX2 Plus becomes even more affordable at ₹57,990 (ex-showroom), making it the cheapest in this segment.
