Ola S1 Pro Sport:  Ola Electric announced big things at its Sankalp 2025 event in Bengaluru. Highlights included the unveiling of the Ola S1 Pro Sport, a performance-oriented scooter for ₹1,49,999. The company also outlined its roadmap with new battery tech, sports scooters, and upcoming motorcycles, revealing its vision for electric mobility in India.

S1 Pro Sport

The S1 Pro Sport is Ola’s foray into the sport scooter segment. It is available with both 4 kWh and 5.2 kWh battery packs based on the new Bharat Cell tech. The scooter has performance-oriented design elements such as wider tyres, sport-tuned suspension, carbon fibre accents, and aero components. ADAS capabilities and MoveOS 6 support further improve rider safety and comfort. Deliveries are scheduled for January 2026.

Power and Performance

Ola has equipped S1 Pro Sport with a 16 kW motor combined with the 5.2 kWh Bharat Cell. Together, they offer an IDC range of 320 km on a full charge. It goes 0–40 kmph in only 2 seconds and has a top speed of 152 kmph. Such figures place it among the fastest in its segment.

Ola S1 Pro+ and Roadster X+

In addition to the Sport, Ola released the S1 Pro+ and Roadster X+. The S1 Pro+ has a 5.2 kWh battery and a 13 kW motor. It has a range of 320 km on a single charge with a speed of up to 141 kmph. Roadster X+ has a 9.1 kWh battery and is priced higher. Sales for these units will commence during Navratri 2025.

Advanced Battery and Motor

The S1 Pro Sport and other new series employ the 4680 Bharat Cell, India’s first lithium-ion cell developed in-house. Ola also announced an indigenous ferrite motor that does not use rare earth magnets, reducing reliance on foreign supply chains. This motor will begin phased roll-out in FY26.

MoveOS 6 and Gen 4 Platform

Ola also launched MoveOS 6 based on Indian AI. It features more than 25 enhancements such as adaptive rider guidance, terrain-adaptive ABS, multi-language capabilities, and distinctive rider experiences. Also, Ola exhibited its Gen 4 modular platform with enhanced efficiency, reduced costs, and compatibility with various motor and cell configurations.
