Next Mahindra Electric SUV Launch 2027 – BE.07 Production Model Will Explode the EV Market

Next Mahindra Electric SUV – The world of electric cars is no longer just a matter of the future, it has become the truth of today. The number of EVs on Indian roads is increasing rapidly and every major brand is trying to consolidate its place. In such a situation, the confirmation of Next Mahindra Electric SUV Launch 2027 has intensified the stir in the auto industry.

Mahindra has clarified that its next born-electric SUV, currently being called Codename BO7, will launch in the year 2027. And the special thing is that this will be the model we first saw as the BE.07 concept in August 2022.

Rajesh Jejurikar, executive director and CEO of Mahindra & Mahindra, confirmed during the company’s Arnings call that this B07 codename model would launch in some part of 2027. However he also said that the final production name would not be B07.

According to the initial plan, it was to be launched in October 2026, but now the timeline has been increased slightly to 2027. The company believes that this SUV may prove to be a larger volume driver above their existing three electric models.

Design

If you have seen a glimpse of the BE.07 concept, then you would know that its design was quite sharp and aggressive. Signature LED lighting, clean surface and futuristic lines on the front make it different from the crowd.

The design language closely resembled the BE6 with sharp edges, modern siluette and strong stance. It is expected that the bulk of these styling elements will be retained in the production version.

Talking about the interior, the layout can be similar to Mahindra’s existing electric SUVs with larger digital screens, minimal buttons and premium finishes. That is, the feeling of “future ” as soon as you sit inside.

Platform and Battery Options

New BE.07 will be based on Mahindra’s INGLO skateboard platform. The same platform is also the foundation of the company’s existing electric SUVs. The advantage of the skateboard platform is that the battery is fitted flatly below it, which gives more cabin space and the center of gravity is better.

Battery pack options can range between 60kWh to 80kWh. This means that in case of range this SUV will be ready to travel long distances. From the Daily Commute inside the city to the highway road trip, this SUV can prove to be versatile.
