Production version to be revealed at the 2025 EICMA

Honda showcased a concept version of this engine at the EICMA show last year. Now, the company is expected to present its production version at the 2025 EICMA show. Along with this, Honda will also unveil its first bike, the “V3R E-Compressor.” This bike could mark the beginning of a new era for Honda, as it will combine supercharged performance and high-tech design.
Honda V3R E-Compressor
Honda has already filed trademarks for this model in Europe and the United States. The names ‘V3R’ and ‘V3R E-Compressor’ were registered in Europe in February 2025. The company has also filed a trademark application for the same name in the US. This means that Honda is preparing to launch this bike not only in Europe but also in the global market.
75-Degree Water-Cooled V3 Engine
Honda’s new V3 engine is a water-cooled engine with a 75-degree angle. The company has not revealed its exact displacement, but reports suggest it could be around 900cc. With the help of an electric compressor, this engine will be capable of generating over 100 hp and up to 100 Nm of torque. This engine will provide excellent torque delivery even at low RPM.
Electric Compressor
Honda’s electric compressor is the first of its kind to be used in any motorcycle. This system does not depend on engine RPM or exhaust flow. Instead, it controls intake air independently, drawing power from a small battery. This gives the bike improved performance, smooth acceleration, and increased torque even at low speeds.
Lightweight and Compact Design
Honda designed the electric compressor with a compact and lightweight profile so it can easily fit into the bike’s frame. This balances the bike’s weight and doesn’t affect mass centralization. Furthermore, Honda claims this system eliminates the need for an intercooler, making the bike’s design even simpler and more efficient.
