Power and Engine
The old Street Bob was powered by the Milwaukee Eight 107CI engine, but the new model now gets a 117CI (1,923cc) V-Twin engine, which is also used in the company’s big cruiser bikes. This engine produces 90 BHP @ 5,020 RPM and 156 Nm @ 2,750 RPM of torque, making it more punchy than before. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, which gives a smooth shifting experience.
Its exhaust note is also very deep and musical, which maintains the traditional characteristic of Harley. If you are already a Harley fan, then you will definitely like this upgrade.
Design and Features
The design of the Street Bob 117 follows the classic Harley style. It has a low-slung seat, raised handlebars, circular headlamp and single-pod instrument console. The fuel tank capacity is 13.2 liters, which is enough for city and highway riding.
Many advanced features have also been given in this bike, such as – cruise control, drag torque control, traction control and ABS. These include 3 riding modes (road, sport and rain). Apart from this, the bike has a chrome exhaust and minimalist body work, which makes its muscular look even better.
Suspension and Braking
The Street Bob 117 is based on a tubular cradle frame, which provides it both stability and comfort. For suspension, there is a 49mm telescopic fork at the front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear, which gives decent ride quality even on Indian roads.
For braking, there are disc brakes on both the front and rear, which work with ABS. As for wheels, it comes with cast alloy wheels, but if you want a classic look, there is also an option of cross-spoke wheels (Rs 87,000 extra).
