If you want to enjoy street riding with the speed of a sports bike, Ducati’s new streetfighter V2 is perfect for you. Built on the Panigale V2 platform, this naked sports bike is designed specifically for riders who want high performance as well as aggressive, lightweight and controlled ride experiences. In the 2025 model, Ducati has improved the bike even further with a sharp chassis, advanced electronics and street-friendly ergonomics, making it one of the most exciting machines in its segment.
Price
Ducati Streetfighter V2 comes in two variants in India. The standard model costs ₹17,50,200 X-showrooms, while the Haier-Spec Streetfighter V2 S costs ₹19,48,900. Both variants make a considerable difference in features and hardware, making the S model a favorite choice for performance-oriented riders.
Design
The design of the Streetfighter V2 is muscular and aggressive, reminiscent of Ducati’s sports bike lineup. In India, it is only available in Ducati Red color, which gives the bike an iconic visual identity. The V2 variant features a forward-looking Marzocchi Fuli-adjustable suspension and a rear-end Kayaba unit, while the V2 S features a premium Ohlins suspension, which gives great balance on both track and road.
The S variant also has a lithium-ion battery, reducing its weight to 175 kg against 178 kg of the standard variant. Both versions feature six-spoke Y-designed alloy wheels and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires, perfect for high-performance riding.
Performance
The true magic of the Streetfighter V2 is in its 890cc, 90-degree V-twin engine, which follows the Euro 5+ Norms and is considered to be Ducati’s lightest twin-cylinder engine ever. This engine gives power of 119 bhp at 10,750 rpm and torque of 93.3 Nm at 8,250 rpm. More importantly, 70% of the torque is found at 3,000 rpm, making the riding very smooth even at slow speeds in the city and giving the bike a tremendous response even at high speeds.
Ducati’s Quick Shift 2.0 system gives clutchless upshifts and downshifts, making gear changes look very fast and agile — exactly like racing bikes. Riders can also choose an optional racing exhaust, which increases power to 125 bhp and reduces the bike’s weight by about 4.5 kg.
Features
In terms of features, Streetfighter V2 is a high-tech machine. The bike has a six-axis IMU, which makes all riding assistance functions more accurate. This includes cornering ABS, Ducati traction control, Ducati wheelie control and engine brake control, keeping every riding condition safe and controlled. The bike also has four riding modes — race, sport, road and weight — which are designed to give different feel in different conditions. The five-inch TFT display comes with three layout modes — Road, Road Pro and Track —, changing the bike’s display according to your riding style.
Comfort
Because this bike is street-focused, not as aggressive as Panigel, Ducati has taken great care of its comfort. The 838 mm seat height is perfect for long riders, but the narrow body design allows small riders to reach the ground comfortably.
Wide aluminum handlebars replace clip-ons, giving a perfect balance between comfort and control. Adjustable brake levers and new footpegs give the rider even better riding positions.
